Getting Gamanac ready…
Roadmap

Gamanac
What we build next, stage by stage. The first one is under way.
The dates are our plan, not a promise: when one moves, we say so here and in the changelog. Missing something? Tell us on the contact page.
Now: your 2026 in games
On the web, from 1 December 2026.
- Import your Steam library, or add games from any platform by hand.
- Bring your journal from Backloggd, HowLongToBeat, Infinite Backlog, Grouvee or a spreadsheet.
- Sort your backlog with a deck of cards.
- Rank your top 10 of the year.
- Make your year card and share it.
- A public profile, when you want one.
- Export your journal, or delete your account, at any time.
Next: the app
For iPhone and Android. A beta for people on the waiting list from 1 December 2026, together with the web launch, then the app for everyone in February 2027.
- Log a session in three taps, with a timer that runs in the background.
- Your library in a grid or a list, with filters.
- Steam playtime brought in once a day, with sessions suggested from it.
- If you allow it, sessions spotted while you play on Steam.
- A note on where you left each game, and a journal for every game.
- Star ratings and a heart for the games you love, and lists you can rank and share.
- Help picking your next game from your own backlog.
- Search for games, people and lists, with a page for every game.
- A goal for your year, if you want one.
- Quiet notifications you choose: a nudge to log at your usual time, a note when your card is ready.
- A card for every month, and stats for the week, the month and the year.
- Follow friends, see what they are playing and react to their sessions.
- Your own profile picture.
- Block or mute anyone, and report what breaks the rules.
- Sign in with Apple, Google or Discord too.
After that: habits
Spring 2027.
- Widgets, and a session timer on your lock screen.
- Your Steam achievements in your journal, and PlayStation and Xbox libraries if their rules allow it.
- Short reviews.
- Weekly challenges and streaks.
- A release calendar for the games you are waiting for.
- Gamanac in French, Portuguese and Spanish, if we decide in February 2027 that it is time.
Later: community and the full web
Summer 2027.
- Everything the app does, on the web too.
- Small circles of friends, shared lists and tier lists.
- Recommendations of games beyond your library.
- Stats from all the years you have logged.
- Achievements from more places, such as RetroAchievements and itch.io.
Your 2027 card
1 December 2027, before the season of yearly recaps.
- Your year, built from the sessions you log.
- A reminder in November to fill in what is missing, if you want one.
