Draft. This text is waiting for review by our lawyer and may change before Gamanac opens. Words in square brackets, such as [Company address], are details we still have to fill in.
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Gamanac. Please read them with our privacy policy, which explains what we do with your data.
1. Who we are
Gamanac is run by Skynappse sp. z o.o., [Company address], registered in the National Court Register (KRS) under number [KRS number], NIP [NIP], share capital [share capital]. “We” and “us” in these terms means this company. You can reach us in the ways on the contact page.
2. What Gamanac is
Gamanac is a journal of the games you play: you bring in your Steam library or add games by hand, sort your backlog, rank your year and make a card to share. It is free, it has no ads, and we do not sell your data.
Until 1 December 2026 Gamanac is a preview: some features are missing, some change, and cards carry a “preview build” mark.
3. Who can use it
You must be 16 or older. When you sign up, you give your real date of birth; if you are younger than 16, you cannot create an account.
One account is for one person. Keep access to your Steam account and your email address safe, because whoever controls them can sign in to your Gamanac account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
4. Your account
You sign in with Steam or with a link we send to your email address. When you sign in with Steam, you type your password on Steam’s site, never on ours.
Your username must follow section 7. You can delete your account at any time from your account page; what happens then is in the privacy policy.
5. Steam data and game data
When you ask for it, we read your game library from Steam (see the privacy policy). Gamanac is not made, endorsed or supported by Valve or Steam.
Data from Steam reaches you “as is”, as Steam provides it to us. Neither Valve, nor the publishers and developers of games on Steam, nor we promise that it is complete, accurate or always available, to the extent the law allows.
Information about games, such as titles, release dates and genres, comes from IGDB and may contain mistakes. You can tell us about them.
Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox are trademarks of their owners. Gamanac is not affiliated with Valve, Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft.
6. What you put on Gamanac
What you add, such as your username, your bio, your photo, the gamer IDs you type, ratings, statuses, rankings, the titles and descriptions of your lists and the notes on them, stays yours.
You let us store it, show it to you, and show it to others where you choose to publish it: on your profile, once you publish it, and on cards you share. That includes making images of your cards and profile for link previews. This permission is free, works worldwide and lasts while the content is on Gamanac. It ends when you remove the content or delete your account, except for copies other people already saved, such as a card image someone downloaded.
7. Rules
On Gamanac, do not:
- choose a username or gamer ID, or write a bio or a list's title or description, that insults, threatens or harasses anyone, attacks people for who they are, urges anyone to hurt themselves, is sexual, or pretends to be someone else;
- show a profile photo that is sexual, shows or urges self-harm, insults, threatens or attacks anyone, or pretends to be someone else, or a photo you have no right to use;
- type gamer IDs that belong to someone else;
- post anything illegal;
- copy the game catalogue or other people’s profiles with scripts or bots, or send so many requests that the site slows down;
- try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, or get around the limits we set;
- use Gamanac to advertise or to send messages nobody asked for.
8. Reports and moderation
Anyone can report a profile, a list or a card they think is illegal or breaks these rules, with or without an account: on the website with the “Report this profile” or “Report this list” link at the bottom of it or on the page Report content, in the app from the profile or list, or by writing to us (section 12). Tell us where it is, what is wrong and why. On the website, also confirm that you believe your report is accurate and complete, and without an account give your name and email address; you may leave them out when you report illegal content. An email address sends up to 5 reports a day. We confirm each report straight away, look at every report, decide carefully and without bias, and tell the person who reported what we decided: under Notices on their account page and in the app, or, without an account, on the report's own page, which a private link opens. We email that link if you gave your address, and otherwise show it once, right after you send the report. The person whose content was reported doesn’t learn who reported it.
You can block anyone: then neither of you sees the other in the app, and neither follows the other. You can mute someone, so their activities and reactions stay out of your way. Neither is told.
To keep Gamanac free of abuse, an automatic filter checks bios, profile photos and the titles and descriptions of lists before others see them. It stops words that clearly insult or threaten people and photos that are clearly sexual, and keeps what it is unsure about from others until a person on our team looks at it. It checks a username when you choose it and a gamer ID when you save it or add it from Discord, and turns down one that could read as hurtful, or a username with our team's words (gamanac, admin, moderator), so you choose another; if you think it got a name of yours wrong, tell us (section 12), and a person on our team looks at it.
New accounts earn trust over time. A list's description unlocks after 7 days and 10 entries in your journal, and links in your bio and a photo of your own after 30 days, while no report about you was upheld in the last 30 days. A photo that shows already stays if your trust level falls later. If a report about you is upheld, or our filter hides something of yours, while your bio has a link, we hide the bio until you save it without the link, or save it again once links come back. Until it is 7 days old with 10 entries in its journal, an account can follow up to 30 people, make up to 10 lists and send up to 10 reports a day.
When something breaks these rules or the law, we can hide a bio, a photo or a list from others, or hide the whole account from others for 7 days, 30 days or until further notice. A hidden account keeps its journal, but nobody else sees its profile, lists, cards or activity, and it can't follow anyone new or react to anything. We hide a whole account only when it breaks these rules seriously or more than once. We hide it until further notice only after an earlier decision about it, unless the breach is so serious that this would not be right, for example a username that insults people.
When we hide something of yours or your account, we tell you under Notices on your account page and in the app, where a notification announces it if you allow notifications: what we did and until when, what it said, which rule or law it rests on, whether it came from reports, our automatic filter or our own look, and whether a machine decided alone. If you disagree, ask us to look again from there within 6 months; a person on our team answers, also when our filter decided. Someone whose report we decided on can ask the same. You can also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or take the matter to a court.
9. Changes and availability
We work to keep Gamanac running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we decide to close Gamanac, we tell you at least 30 days before, so you can take a copy of your journal.
When we change these terms, we tell you on the site or by email at least 14 days before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then. Changes needed by law or to stop abuse can apply sooner.
10. Liability
Gamanac is free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data that you could have saved with an export, or for harm caused by Steam, IGDB or other services we do not run.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, or the rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
11. Law and disputes
Polish law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer living in another country of the European Union, you keep the protection your country’s law gives you, and you can take a dispute to the courts where you live.
If you have a complaint, write to us first, at [Contact email]. We answer within 14 days.
